Cargo Business Development Manager job with Emirates airline SkyCargo New York

The Position: You will develop, support, manage and improve business to establish, maintain and enhance Emirates cargo leadership in the USA by identifying and leading development and implementation of new business opportunities in terms of existing product expansion, new products, new commercial ventures, new market segments and niche markets.
You will extensively interact and negotiate with the heads of existing business partners on commercial issues and provide business support to establish, build up, maintain and improve long term relations in order to achieve and sustain the targeted business results. You will develop and enhance the USA network for successful long term integration and achievement of expansion plans. You will influence and interact with corporate functions such as finance, insurance, legal, etc. and Cargo’s senior management for successful and effective implementation of Emirates internal systems and new business opportunities. You will educate and increase awareness among managers/supervisors on the new products, new market segments, niche products, etc., for successful adoption and effective implementation. You will support the annual budgeting carried out by senior management in forecasting and planning the following: - New Products and new commercial projects – Revenue – Potential market segments.
Experience and Qualifications: You will have at least 10 years experience in Airline Cargo Sales/Marketing and Operations. Educated to High School Level or equivalent you will have experience in business management in the fields related to business development, identification of business opportunities, business reviews, project evaluation, identification of collaborators, negotiation of collaboration agreements, franchise systems, budgeting, etc. You will have strong techno-commercial abilities and excellent communication and selling skills. You will have strong negotiation skills with a proven record of achieving set of objectives, domestic cargo exposure with proven capabilities to interact with business heads, entrepreneurial capability and financial analytical skills. Thorough knowledge of standard PC packages required.
