if my school is administering a nys regents exam in january but i can not attend due to the fact that i will be out of the country, what is a legal excuse as to why i cant be there? i dont think they accept the fact that im going oversees for family purposes. do i say im sick? if anyone knows, or if anyone has missed a regents exam due to a legitimate excuse please let me know what it was! i dont want to get into any kind of trouble for not being able to make it, especially since i should be able to just take it in june, but im still not sure what to tell the school so that im legally excused. any info would be helpful! thanks
