Many years ago I saw a movie on TV, but dont know the title, and have been looking for it ever since. The plot had to do something with king Henry (or some other english king?)I don"t really remember. What Iam sure of are the actors. Kathrin Herborn was the Queen, a really young Anthony Hopkins the prince and also a really really young Timothy Dalton...starring as ...I dont remember. The king could have been Maximilian Sell. And judging from their ages, the movie must have been made about late 60s or early 70s.Well, if it all rings a bell....If not, thanks for taking the time to read this!

This movie also won Academy Awards including the award for the best actress. The movie Lion in Winter reflects the life of the time period of 1166. Henry wants that his Prince John of England should inherit his throne, on the other hand the Queen wants their son Richard the Lionheart who will be the next KING. The Lion in Winter is a fictional as there was no Christmas court at that time.
