Can a wheelchair be made available to me all the way to Air India aircraft?

My cousin is paralyzed and he is travelling along with me on Air India flight. He cannot walk so I have to take his wheelchair along with us. Please tell me can I take wheelchair on board at Air India flight?

    Yes. However, business class passengers of Air India should note that if traveling by the B747/COMBI/744 aircraft types, ascending/descending steps will be necessary. Hence, before making your Air India reservation please check the type of aircraft with our reservations centre. You should be able to ascend/descend the steps and walk to/from your seat.
