   The U.K. and Sweden may assist bilateral borrowings, the EU said in a statement. Lenihan turned down to state how large-scale the bundle will be, saying that it will be less than 100 billion euros. Goldman Sachs Chief European Economist Erik Nielsen said yesterday the government desires 65 billion euros to finance itself for the next three years and 30 billion euros for the banks.
