Can I record from the VCR on to the DVD on the Toshiba SD-V296KU?

I just boutht this model for this specific reason, but don't see any insturctions to do this.I want to record old VCR tapes onto the newer DVD.

    To record a VDR tape to a DVD disk you will need a Roxio easy VHS to DVD. This will let you create DVD movies from your VHS tapes.
