Italian international Alberto Aquilani has been signed by Liverpool FC to replace Xabi Alonso, who's gone to Real Madrid. Can Aquilani help Liverpool to UEFA Champions League glory?

    Aquilani can cirtainly be a driving force for liverpool, the young blood injected in liverpool can cirtainly provide more pace and attack which is the basic requirement of every club in EPL. aquilani's play will merge well with Torres and Gerrard as he will provide them with more scoring chances. On a plus if Aquilani finds a scoring touch, Liverpool might well find a solution to Torres's injury problems.

    Aquilani is more attacking than Alonso, but Alonso is more creative and his long passes and through passes were crucial for Liverpool which would a very hard to replace by Aquilani.
