By mistake, a knife with a plastic handle baked in my Amana oven on a very high temperature. I have cleaned it off best I can but the smell is terrible and there is soot like stuff in the oven. Is it safe to use the self cleaning feature of my oven to try to get rid of the residue? Thank you
