Burning music on a DVD-RW burner

I downloaded some music to my LG DVD-RW. Dragged them to be burned and clicked,select all,and then clicked,BURN NOW. I had about 15 titles to burn and only one title was copied. I ruin three CD-R discs in the process. What is the secret for burning titles to CD-R discs?
