I have a Model AWR1-1W Bose Wave Radio (D.O.M. 980424) which I bought new directly from Bose in Oct 1998.
The Radio, has good volume and generally works fine except that over time the buttons on top of the unit have either become intermittent or totally inoperable. If it were not for the remote the Radio would be useless ...
Right now the following are either inoperable or intermittent ...
Clock Set & #6 are intermittent
Tune<, Tune>, 2, 3, 4, 5,, Aux & AM/FM are inoperable.
The problem is limited to the buttons on top of the radio because every one of the buttons that are repeated on the remote always work from the remote.
Does anyone have a solution as to how to repair this problem -- the buttons appear to be an integral unit which I suspect is a modular sub-assembly?
