    Bleeding after surgical abortion is 100% normal Surgical abortions really do not cause that much bleeding, medical abortions will cause the most bleeding.(abortion by pill) You will notice that as you increase your exercise, you do heavy lifting, or other activity, that your bleeding may increase. This is normal, and it is due to the movement and slight stress on the uterus. thanks
