I was outside the other day in Beaverton, Oregon when a red and black fly of some kind bit me leaving a hole and causing a large, itchy welt that lasted for days. I'm new to the area, but nobody I've talked to here seems to have ever heard of a bug like the one that got me. Anyone have any idea what type of bug this is? Thx.
