I am writing an article and I want to know some important guidelines to improve the ballet posture. I have to mention them in my article. Please share your knowledge if it is authentic.

A very important and distinguishing factor for a ballet dancer is their outstanding posture. If you want to improve your posture then it requires a few minute practices on daily basis. First of all you need a pair of ballet shoes and ballet barre for balance. Holding the barre properly is very important. Your fingertips should rest gently on it. Do not grip it tightly. Place your thumb underneath the barre for the best support. It will help you to grip the barre in a right way. In order to improve your posture, stand in such a way that your feet should be turned out and your knees should be straight. Look up and keep your shoulders down. Lift your chin and breathe deeply in a relax manner. A very important point to be noted that in all process you should be relax. Pull your tummy muscles inside and flatten your back. You also need to tighten the muscles in your legs and in your bottom during a straight position. This will help you a lot to improve your ballet posture. You have to do it daily for few minutes in a relaxed manner. Do not do this procedure for more time, you just need to start it from few minutes and then gradually increase time like one minute or two.
