The first time meeting your boyfriend's parents can be stressful. You want to impress them but you do not want to overdo it. You can fallow these steps as these will help you in leaving a good impression. • If you are going to their home then bring something for them. • Try not to bring up any somber issues and try to smile and laugh. • Know some of the parents' background information and also be prepared to answer questions about yourself. • Offer to help clean up or pay, for instance if you are at their home then you can offer to help wash dishes and clean the kitchen. In case if you are out to eat, offer to pay for your meal. More than likely, the parents will not t allow you to pay but they will appreciate the offer.
