    In vitamin B12 deficiency the body of the individual does not have enough vitamins. The vitamins B12 help in the preparation red blood cells, which carry oxygen throughout your body. Not having enough B12 can cause anemia, and due to this a person feel weak and tired. There are many reasons that cause vitamin B12 deficiency for instance it normally happens when the digestive system is not able to absorb the vitamin. The other reasons of this deficiency are:
    If you have pernicious anemia or you have had surgery for the removal of stomach’s part or the last part of your small intestine, called the ileum. If you have some problems with the way your body digests food, such as sprue ,Crohn's disease, bacteria growth in the small intestine, or a parasite then you will also have vitamin B12 deficiency. The people who don't use a variety of foods may need to take a daily vitamin pill to get enough B12. In mild deficiency of B12 one may not have symptoms even many people may think they are just the result of growing older. The other symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency are:
    • Person feels weak, tired, and lightheaded.
    • The complexion of the skin of affected person become Pale
    • bleeding gums with sore tongue
    • Feel pain in stomach and lose weight.
    • In vitamin B12 deficiency person may suffer from constipation
    • If the level of vitamin B12 remains low for a longer period of time then it can damage the nerve cells.
    • A poor sense of balance is another outcome of vitamin B12 deficiency.
    • Depression
    • Dementia, a condition of loss of mental abilities.
