Ask mom about shaving armpit/legs?

okay im 14. ive started shaving a couple of years ago without telling anyone. 2 years ago my mom saw tht i dont have hair on my legs and asked me if i shaved, i said yes. last year i asked my mom if i could buy nair to remove my leg hair. (she forgot about the year before) and she was shocked and angry and told me to show her my legs. i refused but at the end she bent down and saw tht i dont have hair and asked if i alrdy do them, i lied and said no and told me im too young. im sure she forgot i alrdy do them.

i shave my armpits everyday so now i mostly have a large area of short stubble. how do i tell my mom (hopefully for the last time) tht i want to start shaving if my armpits are suspicious and my legs are somewhat suspicious?

Umm...if you're 14 then your mom is keeping you in the dark. I come from a very hairy family so I begged my parents to let me start shaving so I started shaving when I was 9. In cases like this it isn't a matter of beig old enough it's just that your mom wants to keep you a baby forever. Just tell her that you're 14 years old and she can't keep you locked away in a cage forever. Tell her that in high school it is gross not to shave your legs and arm pits and that you will be made fun of. (because you will) And if she still doesn't let you, either do it behind her back b/c its ur body or let it grow out and stop bathing and then she'll let you.

your a punk if you cant stand up to her and tell her the truth ....I'm already grown but if you learn to stand up to your parents and tell them the truth they will respect you more because your not going to lie to hide the truth so don't be afraid they cant hurt you cause the law wont allow it : )

That is so stupid! I mean why would your mom yell at you for shaving??? You're 14 for crying out loud! I started shaving when i was 10! what did your mom live in a cave for the past 20 years? You're 14. You WANT to shave and your mom should LET you shave! you should just flat out tell her you're a teenager and you need to do these things! Jeez... what a freak... (no offence) sorry that just got me a lil upset...

ok well my mom started letting me shave when i hit puberty. just sit your mom down and let her know that it's time and it makes you feel more comfortable.

wait for all the hair to grow back and show her how disgusting it looks and tell her that if the hair starts growing it means your old enough to shave your armpits
