As people in Islamic countries have a tradition of fasting in the month of Ramadan, because they take it as part of the Holy months. So, during this very month, Muslims open their shopping malls for a certain period of time in order to facilitate needs of their people. Although, it is a fact that Australia is a non-Muslim country, yet my question is if the larger or big shopping malls in Melbourne stay open during Ramadan? If they do open, can you please tell me their opening and closing timings, so that I can avail shopping, while being in the said city of Australia?

Well, as you yourself have narrated the story that Australia is one among the non-Muslim countries of the world, where there is a pretty less percentage of Muslims, the larger shopping malls into the related country would certainly have opening and closing timings till late. When it comes to the city of Melbourne, they also use to stay open till evening. Most of the malls in Melbourne open at 9 o’clock in the morning and close at 5 or sometimes 6 o’clock in the evening, whether it is the month of Ramadan or any other month. So, it is therefore advised that you should avail shopping between these hours, as there is no restriction for people of any caste, creed or religion. I hope this answer will help you release a bit of your tension while being in Melbourne.
