Would you read book by Enid Blyton to your kids? They're politically incorrect - remember the doll with dark skin that the teachers used to mistreat and how they told little Noddy that his head would grow if he told a lie? It's horrible. Still kids seem to love these stories because they're so inventive. They probably know it's just fiction and you as a parent is always there to guide them.
