My name is Joe and I live and work out of queens, NY.I just started apprenticing under a very good artist in my area. I have not taken the test and I am not certified to tattoo people yet. I own a tattoo gun and I use practice skins in my home to refine my tattoo abilities. Since it takes so long to schedule a test and get certified I started apprenticing now so I can learn my way around the shop and perhaps I am taking the right steps to become an established tattoo artist? I want some tips on whether what I am doing is right or wrong and what I should be doing different?
