Once the queen has set up her nest and begins laying eggs, she moves very little, unless, of course, danger threatens. The workers, her children, take care of everything, They care for her, her eggs, the larvae, the nest, the trash, the food, etc, etc.

You can do nothing to "speed things along". It will take as long as it takes. Be patient and you'll see great things and have fun watching it happen.

By the way, don't try and feed the queen. She will NOT eat food directly from you or anything. She only eats what is fed to her by her workers. This is for her protection and the survival of the nest. The workers that feed her are kind of "food tasters" that sample it, check it for poisons or harmful bacteria, and then, and only then, feed it to her. The workers have what you might call brushes in their throats that "sift" the harmful elements like poisons and bacteria out of the food before they pass it on to the queen.

Let nature take its course. Queens often don't do much except wait to be fed and lay eggs
