   My mom thinks I might get in trouble for making that joke, so here’s a disclaimer: The name of this mail is not a quotation to Karen’s ethnicity, but a quotation to the detail that she integrated Spanish lyrics into every. Single. Performance. And that it was pandering. And that, conspicuously, it didn’t work. Karen Rodriguez was cast a vote out of American Idol this night, and the voters decisively got it right. She was in the base three with Naima and Haley, who furthermore warranted to be there. Even though Naima’s presentation last evening was awful, I breathed a sigh of respite when she was dispatched back to safety. Yeah, she desires to work on really striking the correct notes. But she’s intriguing, and I’d like to glimpse her improve. I actually didn’t look after Haley’s presentation last evening, but I manage believe she has more raw gifts than Karen. There’s an intriguing jazzy pitch to Haley’s voice, and it wasn’t shown off one bit with that Whitney Houston song. Not only was it out of her association, but it was absolutely the incorrect genre for her. I can’t accept as factual the referees didn’t unanimously conclude not to save Karen. Who liked to waste the save on her? Steven? I can’t glimpse it being Jennifer I seem like she’d desire to save that for her buddy (and mine) Stefano but anything’s possible.
