Am I having period pains?

I was having these cramp pains in my lower stomach, they went on and off and they hurt quite abit they made me bend over and put my arm round my stomach!!! I've been having thicker discharge latelly but no sign of a period two days later. Is this period pains or something else? and does thicker discharge have anything to do with when i'm going to have a period?
PLEASE HELP ME and give me advice!
