   An African Tropical Rainforest Inspiration African roots take pride in this lovely and scenic walk-in aviary, considered until today the worlds largest. Visitors can make a choice of arriving on foot or via the African Waterfall Aviary station. Either way you will be experiencing an African immersion. On foot, you will be awed by the African inspired entrance sign with a snake, an African bird, the life-size African warriors in full regalia and bravado to welcome you and an African hut adorned with artifacts and African art. Nearby African jars seemingly placed at random are displayed. A Lily Pond on the left completes the idyllic, rustic and dreamy setting. Perhaps more dramatic is the arrival by Panorail. Owing to the change from sunlight to darkness visitors will experience when on board. One will then be pleasantly surprise upon their arrival to the African Waterfall Aviary Station as the Panorail glides entry into the aviary. The cultural deja vu unfolds as you alight at the African Waterfall Aviary station platform. The impressive height of the covered aviary is a delight as one hears the live chirping of the obviously happy birds. As the scenery sinks in visitors will be greeted by hand painted African geometrical designs in matte brown, earthy tones and dash of bright yellow and blue in the columns, wall railings, interpretive and a sheltered structure.
