Linda,
If you're willing to take a 2-4% hit on the payment, contact your local bank and ask them what you need to do to accept credit cards into your account.
But, do you really want to do this? Are you fully compliant with local laws for running a hostelry or motel? Is the property up to code and insured as a rental property? Do you list this income with the IRS on your tax return, and how do you list it? If you answer "No" to any of these questions, or are not sure, then you probably DON'T want to accept a credit card as payment. You are opening yourself up to all kinds of litigation and responsibility by creating a "paper trail". If you are fully licensed and insured to operate a motel/hostelry, your local bank will be glad to set you up to receive credit card opayments into your commercial account.
Hope this helps,
Allen
