are they worth buying- costing
just above a thousand pounds or is it
best to stick to the normal brands- toshiba,acer.

    Zac, Apple laptops are very nice, reliable and stable systems. However, You will have to get familiar with the Mac operating system and finding programs for them is a bit difficult. I have a Mac laptop, but I use it for browsing the net and so on. I personally prefer the PC's, which are more mainstream and easier to handle.
