A question about cheer, tumbling, and the people in both. Any help?

Alright. So, I cheer for a competitive cheer team, you may of heard of us. We are the Crusaders, we compete in the name of God. I want to know why everyone has to talk bad about each other? Cause that's all I ever hear. We are all there because we want to cheer, so can we really be that different. And now a question about actually tumbling and cheer. We have a rod floor and a normal floor, which is the competitive floor more like? I've heard its bouncier than our floor, and pretty close to the rod floor. Is that right? Please and thank you =)

Most teams aren't competing for God, but I agree they sure could clean up their attitudes.

Hmmm, I thought rod floors were bouncier but I could be wrong there since I have never seen one. All-star comps generally use spring floors which are bouncy, whereas a dead floor is not.
