ford taurus has radiator cap on resevior tank since radiator under frame. first overheated and cracked resevior tank. Replaced, then cracked again. Replaced thermostat and seemed ok, then overheated month later. blew head gasket, put in a liquid stop leak, and no more white smoke out exhaust. Still wants to overheat. removed thermostat and tried to run without as test, and seems better, but still high pressure in resevior tank. Is head gasket still bad and engine pushing pressure into tank, or is the coolant blocked somewhere?
