at this point all timing components replaced&timing was set @18 degrees BTDC & it was Happy.2 days driving & the timing was right back as before!!the car runs great but wont pass smog because timing is way to high.try to reset timing and the mark starts to flicker back & forth then will go away until you turn the dist. back to approx. 28degrees, this has been a problem in previous years at smog time,but somebody knew somebody & viola! it passed. we dont know somebody.is this an electronic problem?
