My brother and I saw a movie in the late 70s or early 80s called Welcome back red rider It was a drama starring Hal Linden (BarnyMiller) Marjorie Corntney, and Lee Grant. We thought it was a great movie and never saw or heard about it again. It was made in California. We have been searching for this movie ever since. No one has EVER heard of this movie when we talk about it. If I could get my hands on this movie he would flip out. Do you know the title of this movie? Can someone tell me the name of this movie? I would be really great full to you for this favor. Thanks in advance.

It is actually called "When You Coming' Back, Red Ryder?" (1979). It was never officially released on VHS or DVD, and is very hard to find, but I can get you a DVD dub if you are interested! Please visit classicmovies.org, look for the email link in the left-hand column, and write to me directly. In this movie Marjoe Gortner plays a drug dealer whose car breaks down in a small U.S. town. In turn, the town's people become victim to his unique brand of physical and mental torture. The movie was directed by Milton Katselas, written by Mark Medoff (screenplay), Mark Medoff (play) and starred Candy Clark, Marjoe Gortner and Stephanie Faracy.
