My 2004 Ford Explorer with 75,000 miles, transmission has been intermittently slipping and the dealer is not able to duplicate the problem. It usually happens when cranking the steering wheel almost all the way in one direction. I have also started noticing when driving at 50mph when I let my foot off the accelerator there is a deep moaning type of noise along with jerking in the front end. As soon as I brake or put my foot on the gas it's gone. Ford dealer couldn't duplicate that either.
