I have a bomag bt58 jumping jack style dirt compactor. I had it running but the carb was not adjusted properly. I tried the "turn both the H and L jets in all the way and then back them out 2 turns" and cannot get it started again. I can get it to start for a couple seconds, rarely, and then it dies. If I turn the fuel OFF then I can get it to run for about 10 seconds before it turns off again. To me it sounds like I am flooding it since it runs when the fuel is off. Since I have to start the machine at full throttle, I'm not really sure what to do. I've tried turning L in more but it doesn't seem to help. It actually acted more like it was going to start when L was farther out. Then I don't really know what I should do with the H side since I can't get it to start.
Please help or send me to some website that actually makes sense.
Thank you for your help!
