1998 chevy s-10 security light on doesnt shut off relearn doesnt work

   98 s10 runs for about 10-15 minutes then acts like it runs out of gas. after about 20 minutes it will start again, but still only runs for 10-15 min. in the inbetween time the fuel pump does not cycle.

   HI, if it is factory installed system it is hard to bypass. i would think you have a wiring issue as the security system shouldn't affect your AC or cooling fan. somewhere in there you have a short thats why it comes and goes...i would suggest looking for wires melted together or connections that are corroded and shorting across the terminals...does this car have passlock 2 security...in other words does it have the chip in the key....if it does try getting new key...sometimes the key wears and doesn't make good contact completing the circut....couple places i would start looking, hope this helps
