i have a 97 cavalier and i was driving down the road and my cruise control cable snapped and my car died and i had to have it towed back to the house. well i started from scratch,i checked the fuses and they were all good. i then checked to see if i could hear the fuel pump working well it is. i then checked to see if i was geting fuel to the fuel rail, & i am. i
then checked to see if i was geting spark to every plug and again i am. well i looked on the computer and it said that it is the crank sensor,i put one on & nothing happened. so i replaced the fuel filter, still nothing. i even went as far as putting on another cc cable and again nothing. i even got out the ohm meter to see if the injectors were geting juice and they are. could anyone please tell me what needs to be replaced or what else i need to look at. thank you
