HELP!!!! This is my first car, am not very mechanical but i do have family which are. I've had my rover for a week. The 2nd day we had it we did a good journey in her. Since the middle of the week the car has stalled for no reason at all. I would be doing 30-40mph and she would just cut out for no reason. I've gone through my haynes manual and my family have also done the following: Changed the rotary arm inside the distriputer cap, changed the fuel filter which was choaked to bits, changed the coil pack.
I tried driving it home today from my dad who changed the parts and all i could get was a short distance down the road before she stalled again.
I think it happens when the engine gets hot.
Is there any help you can offer?
