Yes, I understand that, I have also bypassed the oil pressure switch and installed a light on the dash to know when the pump is running. The pump is running find. But the truck still shuts off. I have ordered a PMD for it and I feel sure this will fix the problem. What I dont understand is why will it start if I cut the ignition switch on and off 4 times, sometimes it will start with 3 but most often it takes 4. And then why will it keep running after the engine is warm. [190 deg.] The PMD is now mounted in the air cleaner box and has been for Approx. 80,000 miles so it never sees the tempature change.
