The engine seems to turn on and off very suddenly at any speed/rpm. I have tried a few things to gain more information. If I keep my foot on the accelerator when this happens, the tach rises and falls about 3k relatively quickly. I have think this happens somewhat more often if the throttle is stable; no acceleration, just maintaining speed. I have relaced the fuel filter with no change.
