First you should remove the fuel pump relay which is attached with power distribution center to ease the fuel system pressure. Now start the engine of your vehicle and permit it to run until it stalls. Try it again to start it afresh and let it run until it stalls. Repeat these again and again until it will no longer start. Turn off the ignition. Disconnect the negative battery cord and lift the vehicle. Support the fuel container with a jack of the transmission. Locate the fuel filter on the peak of your Dodge Caravan fuel tank. Take out the fuel line from the front of the container and then eliminate the ground strap. Next, eliminate the inboard edge of the fuel container straps and front T-strap fastener. Lower the container about 6 inches. Detach the fuel lines from the fuel propel module and then eliminate the fuel filter. Replace the filter with new filter. Fix the fuel filter bolts to 40 inch pounds. Again connect the fuel lines to the fuel pump module and change the position the tank. Now you need to replace the front T-strap fastener and squeeze it tightly to 250 inch pounds. Insert the inboard fuel container straps back and squeeze them to 40 foot pounds. Now insert it on the ground strap and attach the fuel line in the front of the tank. Now start the motor of your Dodge Caravan and monitor for leaks.
