I have a 1987 Mercedes 400 Series. The car does not accelerate very strongly. Takes a lot of time to get going. Will do 60-70 mph but does lose groung going up hills and it is very slow off the line. I am guessing it to be a throttle issue as you cannot rev the engine in park or neutral. It will only go up to about 2000 RPMs. What should I be looking at and about how much can I expect to have to pay to get this fixed?
