Scenes of a 1950s movie

Hi

I am looking for 2 movies I saw as a child in the 1950s. In one movie there was a scene of people sitting on a porch singing the hymn Star in My Crown. I think some tragedy like an illness was taking place in the house. I have seen the movie Stars in my Crown and that scene is not in it. Could it have been in the original movie and then cut out or do you think there is a different movie with this scene.

The 2nd movie I am looking for started in a cemetery. I think it was Arlington. Two men in modern business suits were talking. One man was telling the other one a story which turned into the movie. At the end, the audience was returned to the two men in the cemetery. The man who told the story walked off and disappeared among the tombstones. I think it had something to do with the Unknown Soldier but is not sure. I would really like to see that movie again.

Thank you for any suggestions you have.

BOY!! De Ja Vous all over again,

My first name is Glenda, and my niece married a York.

It could have been cut from the original movie, when it was copied to video. I remember what Stars in my Crown was about, but I do not remember the movie. I am not sure I ever saw it, just remember from all the press.

The other movie does not ring a bell at all. Do you remember any of the stars names? That would give me something to base an each on. I have tried and tried to find a site that lets you search by the plot, but to no avail. I just do not think there is one.

If you can give me any of the players names, in either movie, I would be glad to try to find out the names of those movies for you.

    Think hard.
