There is a movie called Peter Ibbotson from the late 30's that I found on Turner Classic Movies several years ago - I loved this movie, but as far as I know, it was never made into a video. Do you know of any reliable resources that might be able to tell me if getting this movie on video or DVD, is at all possible?

The movie “Peter Ibbetson” is an American black and white drama film. It was released in the year 1935. The director of the movie was Henry Hathaway. This movie is based on the novel which was written by George du Maurier and it was first published in 1891. In the year 1917 this story was adapted in many successful plays which casted the actors like John Barrymore, Lionel Barrymore, Constance Collier and Laura Hope Crews. There was another movie which had the same story in the year 1921 called forever. The tale of the story begins as two young lovers were separated in the childhood and then they were separated in the childhood and then again they were drawn together by destiny many years later. It is said that although they are separated in the real life but they get together in dreams. The movie revolved around reality and fantasy which was captured by the cinematography of Charles Lang. It is also discussed in the documentary “Visions of Light” in the year 1992.
I have been trying to get a movie for years. It was made in Japan, and although it starred Vic Morrow, there is no interest in putting it on video, and writing to studios etc does no good. If you know the name of the studio that made the film, you might contact them, and may or may not get an answer. Write to turner Classic Movies. It seems if there is a copy, they have access to it. They own the right to show it, or you wouldn't have seen it there. They probably copied it to VHS or DVD, and may very well have copies for sale. You can also check the following link for the movie.
