I understand you do not want to give "appraisals" and I understand the reasons why. What I am looking for is any clue as to what kind of piano this is, and as part of that I would like a ballpark value if you would be so inclined. I know absolutely nothing about pianos and we are considering getting rid of this one as we also have a small spinet? style piano that takes up a lot less room. Our family is very musical, and I would hate to sell this at a garage sale for $100 or whatever and not realize what I have done. I have looked all over the internet and can give you what information I think is relevant.
Everett upright- says Everett on the outside and all over the cast(?) parts inside, and Boston, Mass. It measures about 53" from the floor, or about 51 inches from the bottom of the legs to the top. The serial number I located in the upper left corner, after lifting the lid, and it appears to be stamped in ink there. It is 35623. (There also is a number stamped in the wood on the back upper corner, but it is only 4 digits so I think it is a dealer or other number). The piano, while not plain, has no real carving on any of the flat surfaces. It does have fluted legs, a hinged keyboard cover and 1/2 lid top. There are trim moldings on the flat surfaces which dress it up some. I would like a value on it if it were tuned and in good (not excellent, not poor) condition. (It does have a few issues, but I can contact a local repairman/tuner to get any tuning/repair costs for these small items).
Anyway, whatever information you can provide, I will be grateful for and thank you for your time in reading and perhaps replying to this.
