Storm that tore through Central Indiana with winds reaching up to 100 mph is sweeping in a streak of breezy weather, the National weather Service says.
"Normally this time of year we don't get many tornadoes,"
forecaster John Hendrickson said.
"But this was a real strong frontal system."
Tuesday's storm stretched from the Dakotas to the eastern Great Lakes and packed a barometric pressure similar to a Category 3 hurricane.
the storm tore off roofs, uprooted trees and also knocked out power supply to 48,000 customers temporarily in Central and Southern Indiana.No reports where there for any sort of injuries.The storm also brought some much needed rain.
