    David Thomas Jones was born on 30th December 1945, he was an English pop singer and song writer and also an actor who was best known for the members of The Monkees.
    Jones was born in Manchester, England on 30th December 1945. He started acting at the age of 11 and appeared on the British TV soap Opera Coronation Street as Ena Sharple’s grandson named Colin Lomax. Her mother died of emphysema when he was 14 years old and he left acting and started training as a jockey with Basil Foster.
    The second member of the band is George Michael and he was born on 8th March 1945, he was an Irish actor but was also a musician, television director, radio personality and also a theatre director, was also best known as a member of the band and for the television series The Monkees.
